OOC :: Info Post!
This isn't going to be a long info post. Because while Luma Zarrin is a complicated person, what you'll need to know going in likely isn't very complicated in and of itself, but I will put it under a cut because I feel twitchy about it otherwise.
First and foremost and most important of all, Luma Zarrin is a werewolf.
She is currently the Alpha of her clan, since her sister Eleanor sort of ruined everything by getting their grandfather stuck in his wolf form, by getting their father killed, and by eating their cousin and turning him into a mindless puppet bound to her will. And she's actually not very happy about it at all.
She is 23 years old, poorly socialized, and a little bit feral. Unlike Eleanor, who was sent off to boarding school when she was eight after eating a kid, Luma has remained at home. The Zarrin clan, made of witches and werewolves and whatever it is her mother actually is, generally kept themselves isolated in their mansion on the cliffsides near the small coastal town of Winterport, Maine. That house is burned down now, of course, and they've relocated elsewhere in Maine, because Eleanor...
Oh, just don't get Luma started on what Eleanor did. Either way, Luma has never really gone to a normal school or had normal friends, because while she can transform between human and wolf form (and isn't even effected by the moon!), when she lost her baby teeth, wolf teeth came in, and, unlike the other werewolves of the family, she cannot retract them. So even though on the outside, she looked, as Eleanor puts it, "like a movie star" with her cherubic face and hair the color of stars, her mouth is full of sharp canine teeth. It sort of puts a damper on trying to lead a normal school life growing up.
But now there's Fandom University. A place filled with magic and the supernatural and superheroes. A place where a werewolf can maybe just be a werewolf...and still have friends that she's not related to or is bound to the family through dark magic.
(Long story there; you should ask Eleanor about it sometime, though, maybe!)
So Luma is following in her sister's footsteps (why should Eleanor have all the fun?) and attending Fandom University. Maybe she might even make something of herself here! Who knows? Only time will tell.
A few quick things to note: Luma can change into a wolf at will, her wolf form is very large and powerful. She is NOT effected by the moon in any big capacity, and she can also transform part of herself. Wolf face on human body? Let's go. Human face on wolf body, sure why not. Front arms human, back legs wolf? Let's fucking go, although that one would be harder for her to pull off. The only exception to this is her teeth. Since her baby teeth fell out, wolf teeth grew back in, and she is unable to retract them like the other werewolves in her family can. So, despite me picking a PB with obnoxiously perfect teeth (expect some bad attempts at photoshop!), Luma had a full mouth of sharp wolf teeth. It's hard to not notice and part of the reason why she's been kept isolated. She had an incredible sense of smell and sight even in her human form, even more so in her wolf form, and she is immune to mental manipulation. She is one of the few people who are impervious to Eleanor's compulsion ability, so if you're trying to mess with her head or thoughts in any way, good luck.
